MoriX Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Morihiko Kubota) is pleased to announce that our fingerprint-enabled IC card, the “MoriX Card”, has been adopted by Iyasaka Seiki Co., Ltd., with product distribution by Iyasaka Co., Ltd..

The “MoriX Card” is an IC card equipped with a biometric authentication feature that operates independently of external systems.
By integrating the MoriX Card into the system developed by Iyasaka Seiki Co., Ltd., the solution enhances identity verification accuracy and system security. At the same time, it improves user convenience by enabling authentication simply by placing a finger on the card.

The “MoriX Card” easily adds biometric authentication capabilities to existing IC card-based systems. Key Features of the MoriX Card:

• Operable via READ Command
  – Usable simply by sending a command from an existing IC card reader.
• Self-contained biometric authentication
  – Only the result of the fingerprint match is sent to the system. No need to store biometric logic or data on the host side.
• Stores up to 3 fingerprints per person and supports up to 3 users per card
